MP steps up cancer fight
AN ex-Cabinet minister recovering from lung cancer is walking 22 miles in memory of murdered 16-year-old Jimmy Mizen.
James Brokenshire, 50, will cross 21 London bridges for the For Jimmy charity, a decade after the teen died in a glass attack.
MP Mr Brokenshire quit as Northern Ireland Secretary after his diagnosis. He said: “It’s important to me to support this incredible cause – proving to myself that my fitness is back.”
