JOSE HAS A FULL-BACK IN THE CAN

MANCHESTER UNITED are considering a £30million move for Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo. The Portugal star (above) spent last season on loan at Inter Milan, who have a clause in the deal to seal a permanent transfer. But Inter have yet to take up that option, which has alerted United to Cancelo’s potential availability. Southampton’s Portugal defender Cedric Soares is also on the Reds’ radar to give current right-back Antonio Valencia competition.

Jose Mourinho wants two new full-backs this summer and the United boss is close to a £50m deal for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, with Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian all set to leave Old Trafford.

United also want to complete a £50m transfer for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Brazil midfielder Fred.
