BRUCE SEEKS FINEST WIN AFTER TRAUMAS

STEVE BRUCE is aiming for a fifth promotion today but says this will be the most satisfying after his family heartache.

The grieving Aston Villa manager has been devastated by the death his parents, Sheenagh and Joe, in quick succession this year. After being promoted to the Premier League twice with Birmingham and Hull, Bruce, 57, said: “It would be maybe the most satisfying with what has happened.

“It has been the most traumatic experience anybody could cope with.”
