We’ve had a ball.. and joined elite

LIVERPOOL deserve their place in Europe’s elite because they have played “big balls football”, says Jurgen Klopp. The Reds boss believes his young, hungry side has shocked Champions League royalty with their courage and passion. He said: “We were like, ‘Wow, what’s that?’. It was a new level in the Champions League. It was not that we are so much better, but it was so different, so brave, it was big balls football. “I really loved it. The power we had against Man City for example was like, ‘What’s that?’ They were better in the other parts of the game, yes they played until they were in our six-yard box and that’s all true but when we were in possession it was massive. “For us, it’s really difficult to do. It’s not like it’s natural to us and all the rest can’t do it. “It’s difficult to do but the boys did it and now we have to do it again.”
