DANNY CIPRIANI will have to make his England comeback off the bench after Eddie Jones ruled out any special treatment.

Cipriani (above), 30, and Chris Ashton were widely expected to be the respective full-backs at Twickenham tomorrow where England face the Barbarians.

Instead, while Ashton, 31, wears 15 for the Baa-Baas, Cipriani understudies club-mate Elliot Daly, who swaps positions with Mike Brown.

“I have got 34 players in camp and he is one of them,” said Jones. “He gets one 34th of my time.

“If I wanted to make headlines (I’d pick him to start), if I wanted to pick the best team, then no (I won’t). Danny is in the 23 and has a fantastic opportunity off the bench.”
