Scarlets in Lein of fire

- BY STEFFAN THOMAS

JAMES DAVIES reckons Leinster will serve up a more fearsome challenge than the mighty Springboks.

The Scarlets face the European champions in today’s Guinness PRO14 final at the Aviva Stadium.

Wales’ openside flanker will rush to the airport at 5am tomorrow to face South Africa next weekend, but is expecting a tougher test from Leinster.

Davies (above) said: “It is going to be like playing the Irish back row – they won the Grand Slam and are ranked at No.2 in the world.

“So it’s going to be as difficult, if not harder, playing against Leinster than the Springboks. They are on fire.”
