BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT
ITV, 7.30 & 9.30pm Cancel all plans, get the biscuits in and tear up the soap schedules – it’s the week when Britain’s Got Talent rules the airwaves. Which means five nights of live semi-finals before the grand final on Sunday.
If you’ve been faithfully watching, you will have seen dozens of auditions – some good, some brilliant, some downright terrible.
They’ve been whittled down to the 40 best acts, all hoping to impress judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams. We already know the Golden Buzzer acts – singer Gruffydd Wyn Roberts wowed Amanda; singer Lifford Shillingford inspired Alesha to hit the buzzer; David chose 60-year-old singing AA man Donchez Dacres; Ant and Dec picked mind-bending illusionist Marc Spelmann; while Cowell put through father and son singing duo Tim and Jack Goodacre.
But who will nab the coveted prize of £250,000 and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance?
