Far Right like Islamic extremists says Javid

DANGER President Putin THERE’S a growing threat from the far right which shares many traits with Islamic extremism, the Home Secretary will say today.

Sajid Javid’s warning comes as Tory MP Bob Seely claims Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin’s use of hackers, trolls and misinformation will threaten Western stability “for years to come”.

Mr Javid will underline the Government’s commitment to the controversial Prevent programme as vital to countering global terrorism. He will say: “The biggest threat is from Islamist terrorism… but extreme right-wing terrorism is also an increasing threat.” He will claim there is a lack of understanding about Prevent. Critics say it forces councils and schools to report those at risk of radicalisation and stigmatises Muslims.
