Tragic Fred’s an inspiration to all

It was absolutely heartbreaking to read about eight-year-old Fred Howe who has an illness that means he will eventually go blind (Mirror, May 30).

What a courageous, brave and inspirational young man Fred is – his family must be so proud of him. I really hope he gets to see and do all the things on his “still-to-do list” before the worst happens.

I hope Fred and his family get to make memories together that will last a lifetime and that his future will be filled with love and happiness.
