POG IN THE DOGHOUSE

- BY NEIL McLEMAN

FRANCE boss Didier Deschamps has labelled Paul Pogba “indispensable” but urged the midfielder to raise his game.

The Manchester United star (left) was booed by his own fans as he was subbed off during Friday night’s win over Italy in Nice.

Former Marseille player Eric Di Meco claimed Pogba’s “almost unlimited credit” has finally been used up in the French team.

But Deschamps said: “If I called him up, it is because Paul is indispensable but he has to raise his game. It is up to him to be the best player possible.”
