Hero rescues drowning lad

A FIREFIGHTER saved the life of a young boy drowning in a Turkish pool.

Stefan Taylor, 34, did CPR on the child while two fellow holidaymakers, also British firefighters, gave the boy mouth-to-mouth and ran for a defibrillator.

The lad, of three or four, was unconscious for nearly three minutes in Hisaronu but has fully recovered.

Stefan, of Dewsbury, West Yorks, said “it was a tremendous feeling of just pure relief ” when the boy regained consciousness.
