This handsome couple is my mother-in-law and fatherin-law, Lucy and Bill Vickers, photographed in Doncaster when Bill was on leave during the Second World War.

He served in the Royal Signals in France and Germany. After the war they became pub licensees, first at the Tollbar Club in Doncaster in the 50s and 60s, and then at The Angel and The Foresters in Staveley, Derbys. Stuart Fairs, Wareham, Dorset
