Brits own big booze stash

THE average Brit has alcohol worth hundreds of pounds in their drinks cabinet, a study has found.

We spend around £100 every month building a booze stash.

Typically the hoard includes 12 bottles of spirits and seven bottles of wine, along with two bottles of prosecco, one bottle of champagne and six bottles of craft beer.

But whisky was not on the list for most, said the poll of a thousand drinkers for Didsbury Gin.
