Gunners getting the 7-year Lich
STEPHAN LICHTSTEINER vowed to help Arsenal get back to the “highest level” after becoming Unai Emery’s first signing.
The veteran right-back, 34, arrives on a free after reaching the end of his contract at Juventus, where he won seven titles in seven years.
The Swiss captain said: “I hope I can bring a lot of experience and help my team reach the highest level of the Champions League.”
Emery, determined to bring more leaders to the Emirates, said: “Stephan brings huge experience and leadership to our squad. He will improve us on and off the pitch.”
