End of term race hate ordeal
A BLACK schoolboy was left in tears after a racist classmate scrawled “go back to the jungle” on his end-of-school T-shirt.
The 15-year-old pupil, who does not want to be identified, was one of hundreds at the Essex school who wrote good luck messages to each other after their GCSEs.
But when he got home his mum saw vile messages, that included the n-word, had been written on the back of his shirt.
She said: “In no way was this a joke or playful banter. My son is devastated. I want to find out who is responsible.”
Essex Police confirmed they were investigating the matter. A spokeswoman said: “Our enquiries are ongoing.”
