EastBeginners!

EastEnders’ first episodes, screened in February 1985, will be shown on UKTV’s Drama channel in August. The re-runs, being shown at midday under the Classic EastEnders banner, will mean a return of old favourites such as Den and Angie Watts, left, Pauline and Arthur Fowler and, of course, Ethel Skinner and her dog, Willy. The shows will also be on UKTV Play catch-up channel afterwards. There have been more than 5,700 episodes of EastEnders.
