Considerin­g she pulled like a train, Ralph Beckett’s filly did well to finish third – she was beaten a neck and a nose – behind Urban Fox and Tribute Act in a handicap over this course and distance last month.

The front two were respective­ly fourth and second behind Aljazzi in Wednesday’s Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes, and Di Fede has since won a small-field conditions event at Leicester.
