With huge profits flowing out of this country into a Dutch account, Netflix is just another corporation that exploits our tax laws (Mirror, June 21).

The Government targets those on benefits while turning a blind eye to corporations and the rich who continually avoid paying their share.

Time for a fresh government who will do something about tax avoidance. Brian Scully, Wigan Gtr Manchester

I find it embarrassing to listen to British ex-footballers turned pundits – Gary Lineker excluded – when they misuse English. For example, how often are the phrases “them players” or “they was” or “we wasn’t” used?

It infuriates me that the most despised MP in the history of British politics, namely Iain Duncan Smith, now sees himself as some sort of celebrity.
