Swedes blast Durmaz abuse

SWEDEN’S squad have united with Jimmy Durmaz against racist abuse after their 2-1 defeat to Germany.

The player, left, was targeted after giving away a free kick on Saturday.

He said yesterday: “Being called ‘f***ing immigrant’ and ‘suicide bomber’, and death threats made against me and my children, is completely unacceptable.”

His statement concluded with the squad shouting “F*** racism”. The Swedish FA reported the abuse to police.
