82 chihuahuas ‘orphaned’ as owner dies

SQUALID Dogs found in the Birmingham home STAR Liverpool ace Salah RSPCA inspectors found 82 chihuahuas living in a dirty, cramped house when their owner died.

Police called to the Birmingham property after the woman’s death initially thought there were 30. But DISTRACTION Trainers pooches with matted fur and fleas were found crammed in every room.

Inspector Herchy Boal said: “They started appearing from everywhere.

“We’d move the washer and there’d be six faces looking at you. The woman and her husband started out with two chihuahuas. But they didn’t get their dogs neutered and four years later, they had 82.”

The dogs were removed and will eventually all be re-homed.
