Chip hooray... puss returns after 10 years
A CAT missing for 10 years has been found 60 miles away due to its microchip.
Owner Mark Salisbury never lost hope of finding Harry, a short-haired ginger and white puss.
He went missing as a kitten from Mark’s home in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Harry was taken into the Blue Cross animal charity in Ipswich after the death of his carer.
But once his microchip was tested Harry, who had been bought from a farm with his brother, was traced back to Mark, 39.
Mark said: “I could never quite bring myself to cancel the micro-chip.”
Harry is now with Mark’s mum Carolyn Clark in Gloucester as the family thought reintroducing the cat to his brother after 10 years would be unfair.
