DESCHAMPS: POG CUP’S NOT RUN DRY

-

DENMARK v FRANCE Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow KICK-OFF 3PM ITV

Denmark, where a point will confirm France Group C winners, Deschamps said: “I don’t think it’s going to be his last World Cup as he’s 25 and in four years he’ll be 29.

“It’s highly probable he can play another World Cup. Over 15 days, he’s not going to suddenly change from being the ugly duckling to someone who is very sincere. He’s always like that. He’s good in his head, very happy and motivated.”

A draw will be enough to see Denmark through to the last 16 but Deschamps said: “We want to be first in the group. I can manage my players and spread the playing time. But we’re not going to give Denmark a helping hand.” DENMARK: Schmeichel, Dalsgaard, Kjaer, Christensen, Larsen, Schone, Delaney, Eriksen, Cornelius, Braithwaite, Jorgensen FRANCE: Lloris, Pavard, Varane, Kimpembe, Hernandez, Pogba, Kante, Tolisso, Fekir, Griezmann, Lemar REFEREE: Sandro Ricci (Brazil)
