Every day in my surgery we have an unmanageable number of requests for appointments.

We don’t know if those that we do not have the capacity to see are in crisis. Cuts to other services, especially mental health, are pushing the burden on to GPs and we’re struggling to cope.

Despite this, I love my job and strive every day to do the best for my patients. Part of that struggle is joining the fight to protect the NHS.
