Insuring that all’s well

-

Earlier this month, my wife and I went to Spain for a week’s holiday, but after only three days she fell, breaking her leg and fracturing her shoulder.

I called our insurance firm, Barclays, and was told there’d be no problem. After treatment in a local hospital on the Costa Del Sol, she was moved to a private facility and I went to a hotel near the hospital.

Doctors said she’d need a stretcher to return home, so she was taken by air ambulance in the care of two Air Alliance medics and met this end by another ambulance and driven directly to a reserved bed in our local hospital. The care was brilliant. Never opt for cheap insurance – you never know what may happen. Danny Bryant, Leicester
