Rid parks of danger
I was shocked to read about poor Lewis Barkley, the boy who suffered a terrible attack by two vicious terriers while playing in a public park with his friends on Sunday (Mirror, June 26).
I believe a change in the law is necessary so that those responsible can never be in a public park with such dangerous animals. A Perry, Stockport Gtr Manchester
Looking at Heathrow expansion plans, it appears there is to be a new terminal to service the third runway, so it’s more or less a new airport.
It’s the same at Gatwick. Not so much a second runway as another single-runway airport to the south of the original.
