DON’T RISK KANE REST

-

HARRY KANE has his Golden Boot head on and must start the match against Belgium. This is a once-ina-lifetime chance.

I’ve watched Harry play lots and don’t think he’s exerted anywhere near as much energy as he does in Premier League games.

I’d love to see the stats. He is playing poor opposition. The games have been slow. They have not been as end-to-end as in England.

Conditioning experts will have a record of what he’s so he is not anywhere near the red zone, when you can get injured.

So you have to start Harry Kane (above). You start with your captain. By all means take him off after 60 minutes.

He will want to be out there scoring goals. It is a massive opportunity. Rare.

And he is on such a run you don’t want to break it. People can be superstitious. If I were Harry I’d be saying, ‘Leave me on the pitch.’

Imagine if England got a penalty and he wasn’t on. He would be thinking it should be goal number six for him.

If something is working, don’t chance it.
