Wagner a Durm believer

BORUSSIA DORTMUND claim Huddersfield Town are close to signing their World Cup-winning defender Erik Durm.

The 26-year-old (above), part of Joachim Loew’s victorious squad at Brazil 2014, played under Town boss David Wagner for Dortmund’s second string.

Dortmund want to offload Durm, who has a year left on his contract, and tried to sell him last summer. He failed to make Loew’s squad for Russia but Wagner feels he’s a good option at left-back.
