PREMIER LEAGUE new boys Cardiff are set to win the race for Bristol City ace Bobby Reid.

Reid (left), 25, has just a year left on his contract. Relegated West Brom tried to sign him earlier this month.

But Baggies failed to agree a fee for the attacker, who scored 21 goals last season.

Now Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock has come in with a £10million package of £9m down and £1m in add-ons.

Warnock has been given permission to speak to Reid, who is due for a medical in Cardiff today.
