Gleb: Strictly can’t touch Stars quality
PRO star Gleb Savchenko claims Strictly Come Dancing is “nothing” compared to its US version.
The pro, 34, who quit the BBC to join Dancing with the Stars, said all contestants in the new US series were “exciting athletes”.
He added: “The standard was higher and more competitive. We started with two dances in week one, instead of week six.
“Strictly is nothing compared with Dancing With The Stars in terms of pressure and creativity, it’s not as exciting.”
But Gleb, who reached the Strictly semi-final with Anita Rani in 2015, said he could return at “any time” as the executive producer “has a soft spot for me”.
He added that Strictly should have had same-sex couples “long ago”.
