Population Brexit curb
THE UK population rose at it slowest since 2004 with Brexit “likely” to be the reason, experts said.
The 0.6% rise of 329,000 people took the total to 66,040,229.
Immigrants looking for work fell 43% and overall immigration dropped 12%, the Office for National Statistics found.
It said the Brexit vote was “likely to be one of the key drivers” of falls.
