So sorry to learn of Jay’s sickness

I have been a long-time fan of pop group Bucks Fizz and saw them perform at a London gig only last week.

It was so sad to read the news of singer Jay Aston’s battle with mouth cancer, which could stop her singing or even speaking (Mirror, June 27).
