Following in the same vein as its predecessor, Unravel Two is a gentle side-scrolling platformer starring knitted protagonist Yarny, with a lean towards physics puzzles.

The game has been opened up to local co-op with the addition of a second Yarny, although the game is playable solo as you can switch between the two. The pair are linked by a length of woollen thread, which allows them to create swings and bridges to avoid obstacles.

From the beautifully realised environments to the captivating and haunting soundtrack, the game feels like a bittersweet animated movie. If you’re after a concise, affecting game that you can play with or without a friend, Unravel Two is more than worth your time.
