Froome puts on a Tour de force
CHRIS FROOME insists he has “every right” to defend his Yellow Jersey – and says he will “definitely” be on the start line to launch his bid for a fifth Tour de France crown.
A powerful cast have lined up to suggest Froome (above) should not be allowed to race until his nine-month salbutamol case has been resolved.
But Team Sky’s No.1 rider said: “I know I’ve done nothing wrong, and from the very beginning that’s been my starting point.
“I’ve got every right to be racing, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
