IT’S GOING TO HURT, ENGLAND
LUKASZ FABIANSKI has warned England: “Colombia will tear you apart if you’re not careful.” The Poland keeper was on the end of a three-goal mauling as James Rodriguez and his colleagues went on the rampage in Group H.
Injured Rodriguez is a doubt to tackle England.
But Fabianski, who has just signed for West Ham from Swansea, said: “England would have preferred to play Japan rather than Colombia. They are much better side, much more dangerous.
“They lost the first game against Japan but if you look at their individual qualities, the team to avoid at this stage of the tournament would be them.
“Colombia have so much quality in midfield. They can really hurt you with Juan Cuadrado, Rodriguez – especially him – and Juan Quintero, who is a very good player with real confidence.
“That is a really highquality midfield. They tore us apart when we played them.”
