Tangled Webb falls into old Hunt trap
Once again a BBC Radio 4 journalist has mispronounced Jeremy Hunt’s name.
Justin Webb this week followed James Naughtie and Andrew Marr by replacing the first letter of his surname with one that appears five letters before it in the alphabet.
Meaning it is surely time to update one of our favourite pieces of wisdom to: “Once is a mistake, twice is coincidence, three times is simply recognising that the Health Secretary is someone to whom you’d never tire of saying C U Next Tuesday.”
