What could be a more British way to celebrate a British institution than by assembling a choir? Just like queuing, tea and sympathy, and weather chat, we do choirs well.
To celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS, this one-off special follows the mammoth task of putting together a choir, mixing unsung NHS heroes with pop stars.
The idea is to try to smash the world record for the biggest live singalong ever, with a performance of iconic Beatles classic With A Little Help From My Friends.
Ashley Banjo and Sara Cox host as the show follows choirmasters Doctor Katie Rogerson and NHS worker Joe Blunden, capturing all the frantic efforts in the build-up.
There will be plenty of exceptional stories told along the way, with most choir members owing a huge personal debt to the NHS.
Expect surprises, feelgood moments and the occasional panic as the hospitals recruit thousands of voices to swell the ranks of this truly extraordinary choir.
