RON LOOKS REAL DEAL FOR JUVE

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

JUVENTUS are increasingly confident of pulling off a swoop for Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo (below) is ready to accept the Italian champions’ £26.5million-aseason, four-year contract taking him up to the age of 37. Juventus’ offer is an increase on Ronaldo’s current £18.5m-a-year deal with Real Madrid which runs until 2021. And they are now working on a transfer fee package to tempt the Spanish giants. With Ronaldo now 33, the Serie A side believe a £90m bid could be enough. Ronaldo’s unrest at Real and the fact Juve have agreed terms with the Portugal superstar has left the Italians almost certain he will play in Turin next season.
