SUPERDRUG IS LOVED UP
TV hit Love Island and a face mask selfie craze is helping Superdrug buck the high street gloom.
The beauty chain hailed its sponsorship of Love Island for boosting sales of bronzing products.
And a celebrity-led craze in people using sheet and bubble masks, taking a picture on their smartphone then posting it in social media, saw skincare sales jump 10%.
Superdrug also installed a wave of 26 new Brow Bars and 27 Nail Bars in stores as sales rose 2.3% to £1.24billion last year, with profits jumping 16% to £93million.
