Corinthians not casual

BRAZILIAN club Corinthians came up with a unique way of ensuring their players didn’t miss their country’s 2-0 World Cup win over Mexico – they made them train at 7am.

The Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A championship is having a five-week mid-season break during the tournament. But the players are expected to keep themselves in top physical shape for when the action resumes on July 19.

So Sao Paulo-based Corinthians demanded their squad report early so they could see Monday’s clash.
