£80k to buy Royals’ 4x4

-

A RANGE Rover once owned by the Royal Family is expected to sell for £80,000 at auction.

The Lincoln Green 4x4 was bought from new by the Royals in 1975.

It was found at a farm in 2013 by its current owner, who spent £60,000 on a restoration project.

The SUV will be sold by Silverstone Auctions, Warwicks, whose Arwel Richards said: “To get a superbly restored early Range Rover is rare, but to get one with a verified Royal connection is rarer.”
