Spoilt kids to put it Mildly

- FROM DARREN LEWIS

ENGLAND have been warned they are in for “an unpleasant surprise” against Sweden on Saturday.

Ex-Sweden midfielder Hakan Mild, part of the squad that finished third in the 1994 World Cup, said Gareth Southgate’s troops were a team of spoilt kids earning too much money.

Mild (above), now a director of Swedish club IFK Gothenburg, said: “You don’t get afraid when you see England. They suit Sweden well. “England think they are going to win but they will get an unpleasant surprise on Saturday. “They think they are so good but they are not. It’s spoilt young people who make a ton of money.” Mild, who spent a year at Wimbledon between 2001 and 2002, added: “The English are easy to score against.”
