SOFA SO GOOD FOR ERIKSSON

SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON is a wanted man for Saturday’s clash between his native Sweden and England but admits the sofa is more alluring.

The former Three Lions boss, now 70, has been asked by several TV stations to fly out to Samara in southern Russia for the crunch battle.

“I think I’ve never been so popular throughout my life – I can’t really believe it,” said the Swede (above).

“I’m sitting very well on the couch here with a big TV in front of me!”
