My blaze plea to star Avram

A SPURS supporter says he alerted ex-Chelsea and West Ham manager Avram Grant about a blaze.

James Lovett saw the star, 63, on his penthouse balcony as fire spread up the seven-storey block.

James, who lives in flats opposite, said: “I was shouting ‘Avram! You need to get out of there’.

“I’m a Spurs fan but some things are more important than football.”

Grant fled the fire in West Hampstead, North West London, on Tuesday.
