Reckon you can do better than John Hammond when it comes to managing dinosaur theme parks? I grew up with games like Rollercoaster Tycoon and Theme Park, so a game like this appealed to me – and it didn’t disappoint.
As well as building up your park and dinosaurs, you research and collect fossils in order to get more dinosaur DNA to find new and improved creatures.
I reviewed the PS4 version of this and I have always found with simulation games that the controls can take a bit of getting used to. While there are a few snags using the joypad – occasionally zooming in when you want to zoom out, for example – after a while you get used to it.
As a simulation game veteran, I can say this lives up to all that I expected and more. The game is easy to get into, has its fair share of challenges and is plenty of fun.
