THE quarter-finals of the World Cup kick off today with a string of A-listers facing semi-final heartache.

Philippe Coutinho, Neymar and Paul Pogba lead the big names sweating on a clean disciplinary sheet to avoid being booted

out of the final four, should they make it through. Any player already cautioned will miss the semi-final if they are booked over the next two days.

Brazil play Belgium tonight with Coutinho and Neymar on a yellow card.

And Belgians walking the tightrope include Spurs’ Jan Vertonghen and Kevin De Bruyne (top) of Manchester City.

England have Kyle Walker, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jesse Lingard and Jordan Henderson all on a booking.

And Croatia, who face Russia, have eight stars, including Ivan Rakitic (above), Mario Mandzukic, Ante Rebic, Sime Vrsaljko and Marcelo Brozovic, all at risk.

France have Manchester United’s Pogba and Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud on bookings, while Sweden’s Albin Ekdal and Viktor Claesson are in danger. All yellows are wiped out after the quarter-finals.
