Another man overboard on Trump’s sinking ship

AS President-elect, Donald Trump boasted that the people short-listed for his Government were “finalists”, likening the running of America to his time on the TV show The Apprentice.

Since then, 22 of the crew aboard his sinking ship have either been fired or resigned, with some even facing criminal investigations.

Now Scott Pruitt, the climate-change sceptic in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency, has been forced to walk the plank after the number of investigations into his unethical conduct reached 14.

“I’ll drain the swamp,” Trump bragged on the campaign trail. He never mentioned it was so he could find the dregs at the bottom to join his staff.
