£1m coke ring run by barber

A BARBER led a gang that smuggled £1million worth of cocaine in coconut milk powder and coffee packets.

Nigel Roberts, 41, used WhatsApp to organise imports from Jamaica.

Border Force officers intercepted a 5kg consignment at Manchester Airport then three more at Gatwick and Birmingham.

Roberts, of Sutton Coldfield, West Mids, admitted import conspiracy. He and four others face sentence at Minshull St crown court, Manchester, on July 20.
