WE don’t need to tell you to set your watches, get the shopping done early, water the plants and finish the chores.

The whole country knows what it will be doing at 3pm today – cheering on England.

There were high expectatio­ns for these young lions, and they have more than lived up to them in Russia. They have played with flair and, unlike other sides, they have played fair.

They have lifted the spirits of our country and rekindled our love for the beautiful game. Hell, they can even win a penalty shoot-out.
