2 held after wood hit tot

A GIRL aged three was in hospital with severe head injuries last night after a falling piece of wood struck her pushchair.

Two men were arrested after the incident in Brighton, East Sussex, at around 10.45am yesterday.

The timber is thought to have been on scaffolding.
