A fair deal is all we ask for

TOWNS are the backbone of Britain, but they haven’t had a fair deal.

Too many have lost their local police stations, job centre, maternity services or sports centre.

Buses have been slashed and Northern Rail and Thameslink are in chaos.

Come to Castleford and you’ll see flowerbeds are black and amber in support of our rugby league team, who topped the Super League last year.

There’s lots to be proud of in our towns, but we need a fair deal.
